Clingy Wife
Sorry for how long it's been since my first post! Riley and I got a really bad cold so I've been getting over that and the nausea. I was able to get some nausea medicine prescribed to me so that is a big blessing. Riley and I are pretty much over the cold so hopefully that will be the end of our sickness for a while.
Other than the nausea I find that I'm much more clingy than usual. I need to be around and talk to people a lot more which is weird. I'm a social person by nature but now it has become more of a need. Every time Riley gets home I just feel like yelling, "CUDDLE WITH ME!!!" Poor Riley. I think I'm cuddling the poor kid to death.
I finally went and got my blood work done today. It really isn't a big deal but I always have anxiety about needles. I know, I'm going to have a big one in my back during labor but my hope is that I won't care at that point. Now I'm all taken care of until our next doctor's appointment which is when we'll be able to hear the heartbeat!
Riley and I had the conversation on what we're going to do about work and school this fall. That was a fun conversation. Since I'm due in the middle of the semester I'm probably just going to do some online classes. I'm really close to getting my bachelor degree so we're hoping I can go back to full time during winter semester.
I get 12 weeks of maternity leave from work so that's great, the problem is that it's unpaid. We just have a lot to look at. The ideal job would be working from home but I need to work to make sure Riley can finish his degree quickly and we have money to live. Oh the joys of being an adult.
I'm also totally obsessing over Pinterest. There is so much baby stuff! It's making me really excited so I'm happy about that. That's all for now. I'll start putting belly pictures up on Monday since that will be the 8 week mark. Have a great weekend!

Crazy fun stuff! Glad you got something to help you push through the nausea. I'm still stuck with it. blah. can't wait to hear more and see your beautiful photos of the bump as baby grows =)
ReplyDeleteYep...sounds about right
ReplyDeleteI've seen the epidural needle. Don't worry. Its only about an inch and a half long. And its smaller in diameter than any blood drawing needle.
