Officially in the 2nd trimester

I am finally 14 weeks along! Hopefully the sickness is behind me or at least will be more sporadic.

My mom took me to Kohls and bought me some great maternity clothes. They are very comfortable. Maternity clothes aren't what I expected though. I knew that they are meant to expand with you but I didn't know that they didn't have buttons or zippers on the pants. I'm not complaining though. It's nice to not have pant imprints around my waist.

It's just a weird sensation because I'm not showing that much but I feel myself getting bigger everywhere else. Most of my clothes (except for the maternity ones of course) are really tight and uncomfortable but I don't look like I'm pregnant. I just look like I have a gut. Oh well, I'm sure that I'll get much bigger over the next few weeks.

I got one more pair of pants for work (I can't wear jeans to work) and their OK  It's a black pant that's comfortable but they're made out of the type of material that attracts every floating particle of dust. However, they fit and are cute so I'm not complaining.

The next two weeks are going to be very busy. My brother-in-law is getting married on Saturday which is awesome. They're having a twenties theme so it's really going to look amazing. A couple weeks after that my sister is getting married. It's officially wedding season.

Good times. My mother-in-law paid to get my hair cut and glossed which I'm really happy about. I had never heard of glossing before but it's something they put in your hair to just add some shine and depth to your natural hair. It was nice to get a haircut. It's been growing pretty quickly and I was feeling shaggy.

I also got my contacts! I ran out more quickly then I expected so I called my friend McCall who works at 1-800-Contacts and she ordered my contacts for me. I've been wearing my glasses for two weeks so I was very happy to get them on Saturday. 

Overall it's been a great week and with my new clothes, haircut and contacts I'm feeling much more attractive than usual. Have a great day!
